Fading vaccines and failing mandates

Audio Podcast Version

I have been fascinated by the response to my first posts. I have waited two weeks for a fact based answer to the main issue - the ludicrous assumption that you can stop COVID with vaccine mandates when those who are already vaccinated are carrying and transmitting COVID. More on that later but it is obvious that pointing out the declining effectiveness of the Covid ‘vaccines’ is a sensitive subject for a lot of people. It is also no surprise that those who believed the initial claims are, once again, scared. However, they should be the last to buy in again to the narrative that suggests that greater government control and direction is finally going to free us from COVID.

It is unfortunate that some of the strongest opinions expressed completely failed to address the real issue. This is the age of emotion, but passion does not equal precision.

Some people maintain that only the informed elite should speak and the rest of us should be silent. The reality is that what was promised is not what is being delivered. Consistently, for the last two weeks 25 % overall (and up to 50 percent in some age groups) of the new COVID caseload in our part of the world are patients who have previously been vaccinated. And this is similar to what has been going on around the globe. There is no ‘pandemic of the unvaccinated’, just a virus that continues to spread. And it is spreading because the ‘vaccines’ are not stopping it. When we hear that the virus ‘load’ carried by vaccinated patients is similar to that of the unvaccinated, the one thing we can be confident of is that vaccine passports and imposed mandates are not going to stop this outbreak.

It may sound like I am against vaccines. Not so. I have no issue with vaccines.  If people feel that the COVID vaccines fit their situation each person should have access to them and should be free, without coercion,  to make their own decision. My objection is that what was promised is not what is being delivered.

That is what should be really making people angry. We are getting jammed up by politicians and medical bureaucrats who are trying to create a diversion to cover their failures. Those ‘vaccines’ have turned into treatments – now officials are talking about four or five or more shots. Forced vaccine mandates when COVID is spreading through vaccinated individuals is akin to  ‘closing the barn door after the horse has bolted’.

Let us just take a minute to talk about how these mandates will function on a practical level.

  1. COVID is present. We know that.
  2. Vaccines may give temporary assistance in reducing symptoms BUT now we know that they don’t stop vaccinated persons from getting or transmitting COVID.
  3. The vaccinated are getting COVID. So are the unvaccinated.
  4. Vaccinated people share COVID, as do the unvaccinated.
  5. Vaccinated people are getting sick as are the unvaccinated.

This cannot work. Even if every single person is vaccinated, the virus will still spread. The difference will be that it will not be traced as easily.

How does a forced vaccine mandate fix that? It can’t.

Here’s a local example – the Sask Roughriders put in a mandate. Only vaccinated individuals or those with a negative test can attend their games.  So if the attendance is relative to population 70 % seated in the stadium are vaccinated, 30 % are not but are already shown to be negative.
Given current stats in Sask, there will be a significant number of vaccinated person who have come carrying COVID.  They will attend without being tested. The unvaccinated don’t have COVID when they get there (according to the negative test) but they are then exposed to it by their vaccinated neighbours. What is accomplished? – possible transmission of COVID from the vaccinated to the unvaccinated without hope of tracing it.

Second example – An unvaccinated person gets on a plane after getting a negative test as required. However she sits beside a vaccinated person who doesn’t know he is currently is positive. They visit for three hours and again transmission can come from the vaccinated individual. COVID spreads but it is not because of the unvaccinated. It is because the ‘vaccines’ are not working.

Its simple COVID keeps spreading. Media keeps quiet and it goes on and on.

With 25-50-% of the new cases showing up in vaccinated individual (and in Saskatchewan on Sept 10, 25% of hospitalizations were vaccinated individuals) why isn’t this the story. Last week  one of the media outlets pointed out we had approx. 400 new cases and then mentioned 300 of them are unvaccinated persons. But the real story which wasn’t presented is that after all this time and all these promises 100 people were vaccinate and still had COVID that day. Why isn’t this the story? But its not.

So, mandates get imposed. Vaccinated persons get special status at businesses, work and travel. But they are carrying and sharing COVID and they are every bit as much a threat to transmit as the unvaccinated are.

Will sanity prevail? It doesn’t seem so…… because now that it is obvious 2 jabs have not staunched the flow of COVID. Now we are being told that the solution is more of the same. Isn’t it strange to you that the coming mandates only require two shots.  2 shots have not worked. Why aren’t governments already demanding proof of a third shot. Just wait, its soon coming to a clinic near you.

Really, are extra shots of the same stuff that got us here going to actually solve the problem? .

I should add one more thing. It may sound like I am against vaccines. Not so. I have no issue with vaccines. When I was asked to serve as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs I was asked to get a variety of shots and vaccines so that I could travel to represent Canada. I was happy to do that… but could point out the only foreign bug I got was one that they did not vaccinate for. If people feel that the COVID vaccines fit their situation each person should have access to them and should be free, without coercion,  to make their own decision. My objection is that what was promised is not what is being delivered.

Maybe a new approach would work better?

We’ll talk about that next time.
